Available Engines

The available engines are the 285 horse power 4.3 litre V6 engines which thrusts 305 pound-feet of torque. This V6 engine is always a 6-speed transmission with either a rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. It’s a good engine that has a maximum towing capacity of 7200 pounds. The second engine option, the 455 horse power 5.3 litre V8 engine has a 383 pound-feet of torque with a towing capacity of up to 11200 pounds.

Overview

Sierra 1500 SLT is a great utility vehicle with upscale interior décor and a tough and strong outer body. It works best with the 6.2 litre V8 engine especially when heavy towing is a regular part of its life.
